How Can I Downsize my Jacket?

We want to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with your custom jacket. If you have already been fit in-person for a jacket, then our experts have likely assisted in choosing the size which fits you best. Please keep in mind these three things:

1) All customers try on two jackets, one jacket to allow room to grow and one with no room to grow. The representative assisting with sizing are trained to make recommendations, however all customers are required to approve of the jacket size that they want despite what a representative may recommend. The representative can suggest shortening or lengthening the sleeves, shortening or lengthening the body, or a different size jacket all together.

2) We do take into consideration that students may grow, letterman jackets typically fit a bit larger than normal jackets due to the style of the jacket and considerations taken when measuring. If you are a high-school student, you will likely grow in both height and body mass within the next few years. 

3) Sleeves can sometimes feel long. A letter jacket is supposed to have a little extra material in the sleeves. This allows for comfortable movement throughout an active day on campus. We do explain this at the time of fitting, but also ask each student if they would like any alterations made to the sleeve.

**Please note that additional charges will apply to for a jacket downsize. It will cost $32.48 to ship it up to the factory and back, and $44.00 to actually down size it. With tax, the total would be $82.79. This can take about 30 business days. You may find it easiest to take the jacket to a local alteration shop however we are happy to see you in person to ensure that the issue is resolved in the best way possible.
